Pupils are encouraged to express themselves creatively using improvisational techniques and structured approaches towards drama.

Oakfield has a strong drama and theatrical tradition.

Drama is about putting ourselves into someone else’s shoes .The drama curriculum aims to provide opportunity for all pupils to develop socially and emotionally through the creative process.

Pupils also study devising, improvisation, physical theatre and scripted drama.

Our Specialist Drama teacher: Ms C Parsons -Head of Performing Arts, Miss N Haig, Mrs K Pinches and Mr L Oates.

There are opportunities for pupils to extend their interest and passion through presentations and productions both in and out of school.
