We are committed to nurturing and developing the abilities of our High Attaining Pupils.
Identification and intervention is initially made by curriculum leaders, with those pupils being provided with the differentiated work in class that will enable growth in that specific subject area. In and out lessons, these High Attaining Pupils are challenged both creatively and academically in augmenting their learning, growing in confidence and ability.
We at Oakfield have constructed curriculum’s that allow all pupils access to greater depth and challenging material and staff are encouraged to support pupils to meet expectations in learning, not differentiate down. We ensure that learning is not just to achieve the highest grades, but to breed and intrinsic motivation in pupils to want to learn more and develop a scholarship approach to learning.
